Next Steps for Change
Next Steps for Change builds community-based support teams to connect with members of our community who suffer from substance use disorders using peer support. Our mission is to lead them to their next steps toward recovery.
Peer support professionals are individuals who have been successful in the recovery process who support others experiencing similar situations. Through shared understanding, respect, and mutual empowerment, peer support professionals help people become and stay engaged in the recovery process and reduce the likelihood of a return to use.
Next Steps for Change is a “hub” for peer support.
We connect individuals who want a peer to walk alongside them.
We train those in recovery who want to learn the skills to be a peer.
We offer employment for individuals who want to walk alongside others.
We partner with other professionals who provide us with referrals and are part of our team.
